Aurora Restaurant is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team.
Led by Executive Chef Robin Wagner, Aurora is an award-winning restaurant located on the ground floor of ILA, a vibrant multi-space venue in the heart of Adelaide’s West End. Built on a socially sustainable model, Aurora champions culinary excellence while nurturing hospitality talent from diverse backgrounds and rich cultural heritage.
We are home to the Immersive Table, a unique dining experience where guests are surrounded by LED screens that transform the space into evolving landscapes and cinematic environments, creating a multi-sensory journey with every course.
As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences while supporting catering operations across functions and events throughout the venue. You will assist with menu development, mentor and guide junior kitchen staff, and help manage ordering and procurement to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

ILA is Australia’s home of immersive arts and entertainment, where creativity, culinary craftsmanship and digital technology converge for transformative collective experiences. We’re seeking an Immersive Content Creator to help shape the visual heart of these experiences – developing striking digital content for live events, exhibitions and productions across large-format LED walls to multi-screen environments.
This hands-on, part-time role blends creativity with technical expertise, taking content from concept through to real-time deployment in a dynamic live environment. Working closely with artists, clients and internal teams, this is a unique opportunity to work in a forward-looking organisation, bringing innovative ideas to life and creating memorable experiences.

This role will support the on-the-ground ILA team by providing customer assistance and operational support. This role works alongside the hospitality team, production staff as part of the ILA Creative team, and more broadly across the business including with marketing and administration.
