ILA is committed to providing an accessible and inclusive experience for all guests.  

Located on the Ground Floor, Aurora Restaurant is fully accessible. The main entry to The Lab contains a small step, for wheelchair access our staff will escort patrons through an alternate entrance with step free access via Aurora Restaurant. The Lab Garden is fully accessible and has a ramp that enables access to its bar. Aurora Restaurant, The Lab and The Lab Garden all have a dedicated unisex accessible bathroom.

The Light Room, located on Level 1 and ILA’s workspaces on Level 2 and 3 are seamlessly accessible via an elevator, each floor complete with its own accessible unisex bathrooms. At ILA, we strive to ensure that every guest enjoys a seamless and enjoyable experience, regardless of their mobility needs.

For all ticketed events, ILA is able to offer a complimentary companion card for a companion or care giver attending with a ticket holder. Please contact us to arrange this in advance. 

Under our liquor license regulations, guests under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult guardian at all times within the venue and are required to exit the premises by midnight. Some ticketed events may not be suited for children, please contact us if you are unsure. 

Situated in Adelaide’s vibrant West End cultural district, ILA is conveniently positioned on Light Square, just a brief stroll from Adelaide Railway Station. The venue is also easily accessible via several nearby bus and tram routes. For those driving, both undercover and open-air paid parking options are available at the adjacent Light Square Karidis car park. Directly in front of ILA, along Light Square, there are ticketed parking spaces which become complimentary after 6pm on weekdays and after 12pm on Saturdays. Additional no-cost parking can be located on Ann Street and other neighboring streets.
