MGC is an on-going exploration into the ecstatic, experimental and ephemeral nature of live performance.

In this, their third season as part of Illuminate Adelaide’s Live @ The Lab program, the duo will present a work of unified collaboration entitled /‘ɛks

/‘ɛks/ is a cross-discipline

/‘ɛks/ symbolises the intention for collaboration

/‘ɛks/ is the emphasis for a shared experience

/‘ɛks/ is the endless possibilities in the meaning of production

/‘ɛks/ will be an audio visual experience of experimental artists pushing the boundaries of their own practices in sound, light and vision.

Featuring the long-form collaboration of Eora/Sydney experimental noise act BRACT x BAYANG (tha Bushranger), the hypnotic debut pairing of MESSIANIC GLOSS x Jacky Bones and the incredible sounds of Iranian Santur player Maryam Rahmani x Guests. Complemented by lighting and visuals from local artist House of Vnholy.

/‘ɛks/ promises to be collaborative, challenging and most importantly, transformative.
