Throughout Fringe festival, every Friday night The Lab is excited to present a series of double headliner shows featuring some of Adelaide’s strongest local acts… for one night only. Expect award winning artists, dynamic visuals, and an electric atmosphere. Join us for a live music experience like no other, with a different feature artist each week, surrounded by 50m2 of stunning LED screens.

WEEK #1 [Fri, Feb 23 | 9.30pm]

COLOURBLIND

SLEEP TALK

The Lab are stoked to present a special pairing; the alt-rock / emo sounds of local icons COLOURBLIND + a rare special performance from heavy hitters SLEEP TALK!
Both bands will bring their own interpretation of heavy rock / hardcore / emo to the unique show space of The Lab complete with visual accompaniment by local artist Ryan Sahb.

THE EMPTY THREATS
PLASTIQ (Naarm / Melb)

March 1st will feature the glamorous post-punk of local break-out group – THE EMPTY THREATS paired with the cyber-pop melodies of PLASTIQ (Naarm). Dress to impress, this will be a treat for the senses!
Adelaide glitch masters CAPITAL WASTE and RYAN SAHB will be providing visuals across the night. 

WEEK #3 [Fri, Mar 8 | 8.30pm]

March 8th will celebrate the release of ‘Something to Be’, the new EP from grunge/rock/punk 4 piece – RIPCORD!
Supporting them on the night will be the emerging punk outfit from the Mid Coast of SA, THE745!

THE VAINS

March 15th features an all rock line up with MUMS FAVOURITE and THE VAINS + the psychedelic visuals of RYAN SAHB. This is an incredibly strong pairing and an essential gig for lovers of 70s inspired rock and roll!
