TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions apply to all ILA venues located at 63 Light Square including Aurora Restaurant, The Lab, The Lab Garden and The Light Room Bar, Gallery and Studio.
Before making your booking, purchasing a ticket and/or entering ILA, you should read the following Terms and Conditions, including Ticketing Terms and Conditions, and Terms and Conditions of Entry.
TICKETING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
When purchasing a ticket through the ILA website, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. For ticketed events where tickets are purchased through another platform, such as a festival or other third-party ticketing provider, the terms and conditions of that platform will apply. Please ensure you review the terms and conditions of the relevant platform when purchasing your ticket.
Please choose your ticket(s) carefully. ILA does not offer refunds or exchanges as a result of a change of mind. In accordance with Live Performance Australia’s Code of Practice for Event Ticketing, ILA does not offer refunds for the following reasons:
We encourage guests to look after the environment and minimise paper use by displaying tickets on mobile devices, rather than printing them.
Cancellations and Postponements
Staff working at ILA on the day of the event cannot provide refunds.
If a session is cancelled, ticket holders will receive an email to the address entered when purchasing ticket(s) online advising that the session has been cancelled. The email will contain instructions on how to rebook for another session.
In the unlikely event a session is cancelled or terminated due to mechanical breakdown or technical error, you will receive a refund to the full value of the ticket(s) purchased, exclusive of any applicable booking fees. There is no need to request a refund in this case, ILA will advise you by email that a refund will be processed and in most cases refunds will be automatically issued to the original credit card used for purchase of the ticket(s) within 5 business days of the event cancellation.
ILA Is not responsible for the cancellation or changes to events due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, government restrictions, strikes or other unforeseen events. In the unlikely event that an ILA ticketed event(s) cannot proceed or are postponed due to circumstances beyond ILA’s control, you will receive a refund to the full value of the ticket(s) purchased, exclusive of any applicable booking fees. There is no need to request a refund in this case, ILA will advise you by email that a refund will be processed and in most cases refunds will be automatically issued to the original credit card used for purchase of the ticket(s) within 5 business days of the event cancellation.
Exchanges
Tickets are valid for one use at the date and time stated on your ticket.
ILA does not exchange tickets from one session time to another unless the request is submitted no later than 2 business days prior to the initially booked event time and provided there is availability in the requested new session time. Exchanges are not permitted after the ticketed event session you booked for has taken place.
All requests for exchanges must be submitted to ILA in writing by emailing [email protected].au no later than 2 business days prior to your session start time. Exchanges and refunds will only be issued at ILA’s sole discretion. If an exchange ticket is granted, this will be to the same value as the original ticket(s) issued and the original ticket(s) are void once the exchange has taken place.
Ticket Resale and Transfer
Tickets purchased through the ILA website are for personal use only and may not be resold or transferred for commercial or promotional purposes without prior written consent from ILA. Tickets purchased or obtained in breach of this condition may be cancelled without refund, and the holder may be denied entry to the event.
Ticket Delivery and Validity
Tickets will be delivered electronically to the email address provided at the time of purchase. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure accurate contact details are provided. Only tickets issued directly by ILA or its authorised third-party platforms are valid for entry.
Unauthorised Tickets
You are not authorised to sell your ticket to an ILA event. Tickets purchased via an unauthorised method and/or duplicated tickets (‘Unauthorised Ticket’) may be cancelled without refund and/or the ticket holder may be refused admission to an ILA venue upon presentation of said Unauthorised Ticket. If you are denied entry for presenting an Unauthorised Ticket, ILA staff take no responsibility for any inconvenience caused to you by such Unauthorised Ticket.
TERMS AND CONDITIONSOF ENTRY
Your entry to ILA is subject to the following Terms and Conditions of Entry.
RIGHT OF REFUSAL:
ILA reserves the right to refuse admission or eject from its venues any person if they do not comply with these directions and any reasonable direction provided by ILA staff. ILA also reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person if it believes their presence is, or is likely to, cause a nuisance, disturbance or threat to other patrons, the venue or ILA’s employees.
CONSENT TO PHOTOGRAPHY, FILM, SOUND RECORDING AND DISTRIBUTION:
By making a booking, attending a function, or purchasing a ticket to ILA, you acknowledge and agree that ILA may take photographs and/or video recordings of the event, function or ticketed experience for promotional and marketing purposes. You consent to such photographs and/or videos being used by ILA on its’ website, social media channels, print materials or other promotional platforms.
If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please advise an ILA staff member upon arrival. ILA will take reasonable steps to ensure you are not included in promotional material.
By participating in activities at the Venue, you waive any rights or interests you may have in the copyright of any such photographs or videos taken for promotional use, and you acknowledge that you are not entitled to any payment, royalty, or other compensation for the use of such material.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
You agree to comply with all Venue policies, instructions and any safety directions given by Venue staff while on the ILA Premises. While ILA takes reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and security of all patrons, ILA accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to your personal belongings.
ILA reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person who fails to comply with these conditions or engages in unsafe, reckless, or inappropriate behaviour.
Privacy and Data Collection
By purchasing tickets through the ILA website, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with ILA’s Privacy Policy which can be found here.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.
