The Light Room Bar
Commanding a magnificent view over Light Square, The Light Room Bar is just one space within our three part Bar, Gallery and Studio. Bathed in natural light during the day before transforming into a moody cocktail lounge once the sun goes down, The Light Room is a dynamic space for hosting an array of events from boozy brunches to cocktail parties. Leather banquette seating, polished concrete floors, exposed brick walls and feature lighting adds a touch of luxury to any occasion within a vibrant bar atmosphere. As a fully licensed venue, we are able to host you and your guests until 2am so you can keep the celebrations going late into the night.
The Light Room Gallery
The centre of our Bar, Gallery and Studio, The Light Room Gallery is a newly renovated chic, minimalist space with concrete floors, high ceilings and track lighting. Featuring a program of pop-up art instillations and filled with inherent charm, The Light Room Gallery requires minimal styling to transform events into lively and engaging experiences. Fusing physical and digital artworks, a 3 metre tall LED screen can be used as an extension of the exhibition on display, to create a dynamic background for photo opportunities or to showcase your brand. Treat this as your own canvas and exhibit works just for your event, or work with the team at ILA to collaborate on an exhibition aligned to your values and interests.
The Light Room Studio
The penultimate story telling canvas in Adelaide, this 150sqm of cutting-edge LED screens is the perfect way to share stories in an intimate experience. The Light Room Studio is a unique multipurpose space that offers full immersion and can transport you and your guests to any world, creating new ways of seeing and experiencing things only limited by the imagination. The Light Room Studio serves as a blank canvas for creativity and brings to life captivating displays, dynamic presentations, impactful brand launches and interactive experiences that will elevate your event to unprecedented heights.

Looking for a private space to celebrate with an intimate group? Aurora’s private dining room offers a unique opportunity to indulge in privacy and an unforgettable culinary journey hidden behind a vibrant restaurant setting. Available to accommodate groups of 10 to 30, eat your way through our menu as best suits the occasion and let our Chef’s guide you through a tasting menu comprised of our favourite dishes.
Aurora is bringing fresh flavours, local produce and sustainability to the table to create memorable dining experiences complete with award-winning food and service. The moody interior with projection lighting and an open kitchen creates a vibrant restaurant atmosphere. Eat your way through our menu as best suits the occasion, Aurora can be booked privately by your business, comfortably accommodating up to 100 people, or for more intimate affairs, our private dining space is ideal.
Unleash your imagination at The Lab, a multi-functional immersive venue with 50 square metres of surrounding LED screens. With a versatile and adaptable design, let The Lab be the background for your next event. Ideal for corporate launches, networking events, milestone celebrations, after parties, immersive dining experiences and more, our immersive technology creates dynamic and captivating environments and makes your experience truly unforgettable. The Lab can accommodate seated dining for 80 guests and cocktail style events for up to 180. As a fully licensed venue, we’re able to host you and your guests until 2am so you can keep the celebrations going late into the night.
The Lab Garden
Picture this, freshly shucked Oysters and Sparkling on arrival surrounded by lush greenery with vibes flowing straight from a built-in DJ booth under the stars. Leading the way to The Lab, The Lab Garden sets the scene for outdoor welcome drinks and after-party vibes in a relaxed, vibrant atmosphere. The perfect space for a pop-up paella station or food-truck style fiestas, The Lab Garden can be privately booked on its own with a capacity of 160 or in conjunction with The Lab for bigger events.
We worked with the team at ILA to host the Cityguide Adelaide app and website launch in late 2021 at The Lab. The space was ideal for us, both in terms of size, layout and of course the fabulous full-size digital screens inside, which we used to maximum effect for our main presentation. Being able to use the outdoor courtyard for guest entry and outdoor socialising was also a real plus. The functions and AV team were very easy to work with and helped us pull off a seamless event. I would definitely recommend ILA to anyone looking to host an event with wow factor.
The Lab at ILA is a unique and inspiring venue, our guests were awe struck by the immersive nature of the event we created. The giant screens helped us present a stunning display, but it was the incredible support we had from the staff at ILA that made the event a great success. We will definitely be back.
It’s rare that every aspect of an event is delivered perfectly but your team pulled it off! It was a pleasure working with the team in the planning stages and on the night, the attention to detail was refreshing. The event was executed with precision from a tech perspective. The food and service was exceptional, a huge thank you for your professionalism and flawless delivery of each course. Thanks also to the waiters who served us so well and of course lastly thank you to the Chef and his amazing team. Every course was a delightful revelation. It is an event that will be remembered for a long time. Thank you for building such an amazing facility.
ILA staff were professional, accommodating and helpful. The space was filled with natural light, the food was delicious, and staff were attentive and friendly. The whole experience was overall very positive and enjoyable for all attendees.

ILA is such a unique venue which meant there was something to suit the individual needs of all our guests, whether it be dancing, chilling, eating, talking or enjoying the fabulous technology in the spaces. Can't wait to host the next one there.
